North Island Credit Union Kicks it Up a Notch
Interactive Feature Brings Art Alive in the Community SAN DIEGO--(Business Wire)--North Island Credit Union recently created an innovative and interactive advertising strategy for all ages. Produced by Reactrix, this original and interactive artwork known as "Island Paradise" can be seen at numerous venues throughout San Diego, and so far the strategy has paid off. In malls, theaters and other spaces, Reactrix creates highly entertaining branding displays that respond to the physical movements of the audience. The design has produced the highest advertising effectiveness score across all media types and is becoming popular with major brands like Coca-Cola. The resulting "brand play" makes Reactrix the highest engagement advertising available today and reaches top-market venues with monthly traffic exceeding 100 million. Similar to the interactive, with the drag of the mouse, the elements of "Island Paradise" are highlighted and a narrative of each pops up to reveal the story of the landmark and its importance to the San Diego and Riverside communities. The interactive mural is featured under the Island Extras section on the credit union's web site, www.myisland.com. Earlier this year, North Island Credit Union updated its signature mural artwork to reflect 20 new landmarks and sites from San Diego to Riverside, including Petco Park, the Gaslamp District sign, the Lemon Grove lemon, the Chicano Park murals, the San Diego State University bell tower, the Carlsbad flower fields and the Temecula vineyards. The original artwork, known as the "Polymorphous Paradise," was created in 1992 and has been used in North Island's advertising and marketing programs. The new "Island Paradise" artwork will be incorporated into the credit union's print, collateral and affinity items over the next few months.
