Ron Paul Campaign Announces Alaska Veterans for Paul Coalition
ANCHORAGE, Ala.--(Business Wire)-- The Ron Paul 2008 Republican presidential campaign today announced the formation of the Alaska Veterans for Paul Coalition. Over 35 Alaskan war veterans have endorsed ten-term Texas Congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, and have signed onto the Alaska Veterans for Paul Coalition today. "Congressman Paul supports the troops, and is a leading defender of veterans' rights," said Paul Alaska state political director Craig Bergman, himself a veteran. "Many of Congressman Paul's most dedicated supporters in Alaska are veterans, and today I'm proud to announce that dozens of these patriots have banded together in their public support of Dr. Paul." Ron Paul served his country in the Air Force and Air National Guard. He is also a founding member of the Vietnam Veterans of America chapter in Hallettsville, Texas.
