Western PA Teacher to Be Surprised With Milken National Educator Award

An unsuspecting western Pennsylvania educator will be recognized and receive
an unrestricted $25,000 Milken Educator Award at a surprise school wide
assembly at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov 6. The media is asked to respect the nature
of the surprise when making coverage arrangements (see Editor's Note below).
The event is part of the Milken Family Foundation's 23rd National
Notifications Tour, recognizing 50 outstanding educators as 2009 Milken
Educator Award recipients.
