Avon to Webcast October 29 Investor Meeting

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP)
will provide an update on the company's strategies, along with a discussion of
the company's third-quarter 2009 performance, during a company-hosted meeting
in New York City on Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time
until 12:30 P.M.  


Andrea Jung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Charles Cramb, Vice
Chairman and Chief Finance and Strategy Officer; Charles Herington, Executive
Vice President, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe; Geralyn Breig,
Senior Vice President and President, North America; and John Owen, Senior Vice
President, Supply Chain, will present and take questions.  In addition to
reviewing Avon's third-quarter results, management will discuss progress with
Avon's overall business strategies, including planned actions to sustain
growth in Latin America and to improve performance in North America. The
company will also review progress and planned actions as it continues to
transform its global supply chain. 


The meeting will be webcast in its entirety beginning at 8:30 A.M. Eastern
