Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc. announced today that it plans
to release its first quarter 2008 results before market opening on
Thursday, May 15th, 2008.

The Company will host a conference call to discuss its first
quarter 2008 results at 9:00 a.m. (Hawaii Time), or 3:00 p.m. (Eastern
Time) on Thursday, May 15th, 2008.
