Wolters Kluwer Health Appoints Anne Woods to Chief Nursing Officer;
Strengthens Its Commitment to the Nursing Market

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolters Kluwer Health has announced the
appointment of Anne Dabrow Woods, MSN, RN, CRNP, ANP-BC, to the new position
of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in a move to strengthen the nursing strategy of
its Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) journals and Ovid brands. LWW is a
leading international publisher of medical and nursing journals; Ovid is the
global leader in electronic medical, scientific, and academic information
research solutions.

"I am delighted to have Anne in this new role as Chief Nursing Officer to help
lead our nursing strategy and commitment to this important customer base for
both LWW and Ovid," said Karen Abramson, President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer
Health Medical Research. "Anne's nursing practice experience, combined with
her editorial and publishing career, provides a unique perspective on the
issues and information access needs of nursing professionals throughout their
careers -- from education and research to clinical practice."

As CNO, Woods will lead the nursing strategy across both the LWW journals and
Ovid businesses. She will provide important direction on the development of
nursing products based on her knowledge of how nurses access and use
information in their practice to improve patient outcomes. In addition, Woods
will have a visible role within the nursing profession's medical and nursing
societies and industry associations, many of which utilize Wolters Kluwer
Health to support their electronic content strategies.

Woods has been with Wolters Kluwer Health for 11 years in a variety of
positions, including Clinical Editor, Clinical Director, Publisher, and most
recently the Director of Journal Strategy & Development. She will continue her
position as publisher, American Journal of Nursing (AJN), along with her new
responsibilities as CNO. Woods has been a nurse for over 25 years and a nurse
practitioner for over 11 years, with extensive experience in critical and
primary care. Woods continues to practice part-time as a nurse practitioner
and is adjunct faculty at Immaculata University. She received her BSN from
West Chester University and her MSN from LaSalle University.

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins is recognized as the leading journal publisher
of nursing content with flagship publications such as AJN, Nursing 2009,

Management. LWW is also a strong partner to numerous professional nursing
associations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses,
Infusion Nursing Association, Dermatologic Nurses Association, and the
American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.

Other nursing products offered from LWW journals include Lippincott's
NursingCenter, a continuing education portal and a point of entry to LWW

States and the 9.2 million nurses outside of the United States. NursingCenter
has over 225,000 unique visitors primarily for access to the 1,100 continuing
education opportunities.

In addition to the LWW nursing content, Ovid aggregates nursing and allied
