TOKYO--(Business Wire)--Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TOKYO:6703) today announced it
has released its Social Responsibility Report 2007. The report, posted
on OKI's website (http://www.oki.com/en/csr/report/2007), includes OKI
Group's fundamental philosophy on CSR (corporate social
responsibility) and describes the CSR activities OKI engaged in during
the fiscal year ending March 2007.

"I am pleased to release our third Social Responsibility Report,
to widely disclose our CSR activities and gain trust and understanding
from our stakeholders," said Keiichi Fukumura, Senior Vice President
at Oki Electric Industry, who oversees the CSR Promotion Division. "In
October 2005, we established 'The OKI Group Charter of Corporate
Conduct' for the betterment of corporate value, and put together our
first Social Responsibility Report. We have structured this third
report into six activity domains, on which we focus. We made efforts
to enable readers to easily understand our activities by updating
OKI's achievements and including comments from employees around the
world."

Following are the highlights from the Social Responsibility Report
2007:
