Glamorous Evening with Piaget

NEW YORK, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood's A-listers joined Piaget
dripping in diamonds to celebrate the U.S. red carpet launch of their new
Limelight Paris-New York jewelry and timepieces. Maggie Gyllenhaal, the
starlet of the summer's biggest block-buster, "The Dark Knight," fell in love
with Piaget's bow shaped secret watch. Liv Tyler chose Piaget's incredible 36
ct pink tourmaline cocktail ring to perfectly accent her chinoiserie dress.
Mena Suvari chose Piaget's Possession's simple white gold and diamond hoops,
while Emmy Rossum positively sparkled in Piaget's white gold and diamond
cascade necklace, diamond rose-inspired ring and matching diamond
rose-inspired earrings. Becki Newton, Leighton Meester, and Zoe Kravitz also
arrived to show their support for Piaget glittering in their diamonds.
The elegant occasion was hosted by Piaget's CEO, Philippe Leopold-Metzger,
who personally escorted the dazzling new collection from Switzerland and
mingled with the actresses all evening. The star-studded event was held at
the private Loft & Gardens at Rockefeller Center which offered breathtaking
views of Manhattan, and was especially appropriate given that the Rockefeller
Center building is one of the 12 tallest skyscrapers featured on Piaget's New
York-inspired Tourbillon Relatif.
The firm partnered with The Whitney Contemporaries to host the spectacular
event. Guests included some of New York's most influential designers along
with social luminaries, cultural tastemakers, notable media and other high
profile influencers.
