SPEED RACER-Sponsored NASCAR Chevy to Be Driven by Stanton Barrett on Opening Day of ``Speed Racer,'' Friday, May 9

DARLINGTON, S.C.--(Business Wire)--
This Friday, May 9, NASCAR driver Stanton Barrett will celebrate
the opening of Warner Bros. Pictures' new live-action family film
"Speed Racer" in the #30 SKI Motorsports/Stanton Barrett Motorsports
SPEED RACER Chevrolet at the NASCAR Nationwide Series in Darlington.
Barrett's car will sport a special paint scheme reflective of Speed
Racer's legendary Mach 5.

"I'm very excited about having 'Speed Racer' on my car," said
Barrett. "I grew up watching the show each week with my brother David,
who coincidentally is working with 'Speed Racer' producer Joel Silver
on the television series 'Moonlight.' I've always hoped to one day be
just like Speed, and now, thanks to Warner Bros., I get to drive like
a 'demon on wheels' during the Nationwide race this weekend."

Barrett, one of auto racing's rising stars, is one of only two
drivers in NASCAR who owns a team. Barrett fields his racing
enterprise through SKI Motorsports/SBM (Stanton Barrett Motorsports),
Interush Racing and Grandstay.net.

Apart from his racing career, Stanton is one of Hollywood's
premiere stuntmen having worked on such films as all three
"Spider-Man" films, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "2 Fast 2 Furious" and "8
Mile." For more information on Barrett, please visit:
