SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Dr. Henry "Nick" Nicholas pounded nails and helped raise the wall framing today
on a Habitat for Humanity house as construction began on the future home of a
deserving Orange County family.

In a ceremony later, four families were given the keys to newly completed homes,
including the family of Iraq War veteran Gunnery Sgt. Joseph Morales, who
watched the proceedings via webcam from his current deployment in Iraq. Morales`
wife, Katia, and two young daughters were present for the ceremony.

Dr. Nicholas was honored in recognition of the $500,000 grant from the Henry T.
Nicholas, III Foundation that is helping to build 27 homes, many of which are
still under construction, on Calle Rolando.

"In God`s universe there are no coincidences, only miracles," said Dr. Nicholas.
"And what Habitat for Humanity is doing to help our returning war veterans and
their families is nothing short of a miracle."

It was the second day of carpentry for Dr. Nicholas, who helped raise the walls
on Gordon`s House http://www.episcopalchurch.org/79901_112239_ENG_HTM.htm in a
ceremony Thursday at the General Convention of the Episcopal Church being held
this week at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Gordon`s House is being built in memory of the late Reverend Canon Gordon B.
Yeaton, Jr., an Episcopal priest and board member of Habitat for Humanity of
Orange County. Dr. Nicholas joined members of the Yeaton family, the Right Rev.
J. Jon Bruno, bishop of the Diocese of Los Angeles, and Habitat for Humanity
International CEO Jonathan Reckford in framing the first walls.

Celebrating 21 years of changing lives and changing communities in Orange
County.

130 houses built in Orange County

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, headquartered in Santa Ana, CA, is
dedicated to ending substandard housing and building strong communities in
Orange County. Habitat uses non-government donations of funding, materials,
professional services and volunteer labor to build simple, decent homes which
are sold to qualified low income families for a 1% down payment, closing costs,
and a long-term mortgage. Mortgage payments are recycled to build more Habitat
homes. Habitat families contribute 500 hours of "sweat equity" to the program by
building their own home, helping another Habitat family build a home, or working
in some other area of the Habitat organization.
