Imagination Movers' Single Release Raises Money for New Orleans Kids
Movers Celebrate Walt Disney Records Debut, Juice Box Heroes, by
Donating Download Proceeds to KIDsmART
NEW ORLEANS--(Business Wire)--
To celebrate the release of their debut Walt Disney Records CD,
the Imagination Movers will unveil a special single that will raise
funds for the nonprofit group KIDsmART, which brings visual and
performing arts education to public schools throughout New Orleans.
Fans downloading the single "Can You Do It?" on iTunes between March
11 and March 18 will be supporting arts education in New Orleans.
The Movers have asked fans to download the new song during this
special week in an effort to raise funds for a group that shares the
Movers' goal of encouraging creativity in kids. The group will donate
all of their proceeds from the sale of the song to KIDsmART.
The Imagination Movers' full-length Walt Disney Records CD - Juice
Box Heroes - will be available on iTunes and in stores nationwide
March 18. It features new music as well as remixed and remastered
versions of Movers favorites from their three previous independent
releases.
New Orleans families know the Movers as the local guys whose CDs
and DVDs have been omnipresent in minivans and living rooms around the
region since 2003. Now, the Movers are in production in New Orleans on
Disney Channel's new "Imagination Movers" television series, which
will premiere later this year. In the meantime, beginning March 8, the
channel will launch three new Imagination Movers music videos - "Can
You Do It," "Calling All Movers" and "Numbers in a Bag" - all of which
are also included on Juice Box Heroes. Both the videos and the new
series, which will air during Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney
programming block, will introduce viewers to the band's energetic rock
and roll style of music, and encourage creative problem solving skills
for preschoolers.
