Localiza Announces Its 1Q08 Results

BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil, April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Localiza Rent A
Car S.A. (Bovespa: RENT3), the largest car rental company in Latin America in
terms of number of agencies, with 35 years of existence, reports today its
results for the first quarter of 2008 (1Q08). The financial information is
presented in Brazilian Real (R$ million), except where otherwise indicated,
and is based on financial statements in US GAAP. The comparisons refer to the
first quarter of 2007 (1Q07).
1Q08 HIGHLIGHTS
-- Net Revenue grew by 16.6%;
-- EBITDA grew by 23.2%;
-- Average rented fleet grew by 27.8%;
-- 17.8% growth in the Net Income.
