Pemberton begins drilling its second well

CALGARY, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - (TSX.V:PBT, FSE :P5W) Pemberton
Energy Ltd. is pleased to advise that it has began drilling its second well-
6-15-82-3-W6M on Sunday, March 30, 2008. Surface casing has been installed and
cemented on March 31, 2008. The Company anticipates reaching total depth by
the end of this week. Project depth is estimated at 1144 meters.
Pemberton Energy Ltd's principal business is the acquisition, exploration
and development of petroleum properties. The company continues to focus on its
primary corporate objective: the creation of value for shareholders by
identifying oil and gas accumulations with relatively low geological risk but
with substantial reserve potential.
