MADISON, Wis., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Craft and Hobby Association
selected the new Fiskars Push and Print Stamp Factory as winner of their
coveted 2008 Innovation Award - Best of Class for Scrapbooking and Paper
Crafting.
This unique tool is a patent pending design that allows consumers to lay
out their entire project on a removable plate using multiple clear stamps of
any kind. When the Fiskars high-density pigment ink pad is then inserted, it
creates a self-inking customized stamp that can be used over and over without
any manual re-inking (as required by traditional stamping). The result is a
crisp, clear, customized design that produces multiple images quickly and with
no mess (for a video demo, visit http://www.fiskarstv.com).
According to product manager Stacy Okazaki, "A lot of innovation and
consumer research went into our Stamp Factory. This solves many issues that
crafters had with the traditional method of stamping, and our feedback on the
finished tool has been very positive."
Crafter Lisa Falduto, who demoed the tool at the show said, "The new Stamp
Factory is totally awesome! Works like a charm and that baby makes clean and
crisp impressions every time. So easy to use ... and it totally deserved to
win!"
Fiskars high-density pigment inks have twice the pigment of most inks
currently on the market. Fiskars ink colors being released in September are:
    Fresh Squeezed (orange)
    Why So Blue (light blue)
    Blue Ribbon Winner (blue)
In the Still of the Night (black)
    Fire Me Up (red)
    Sun Kind of Wonderful (yellow)
    Solid Gold (gold)
    You Make Me Blush (pink)
    Chocoholic (brown)
    The Good Silver (silver)
    The Grape Escape (purple)
    In A Pickle (green)

Fiskars also has over 100 stamp sets available in craft stores worldwide
under the brands Heidi Grace, Cloud 9, Li'l Davis, Ink by Steph, and Kimberly
Poloson, as well as Fiskars.
The new Fiskars Push and Print Stamp Factory Kit includes everything you
need to get started -- Stamp Factory, ink pad, and 2 stamp sets. It retails at
$40, and it will be available in craft stores beginning in October 2008.
