Presentation at the Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Unplugged Conference

(Nasdaq: AMLN) today announced it has re-scheduled its presentation time at
the Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Unplugged Conference in Key Biscayne, FL
to Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. PT. Previously, the
presentation had been scheduled for 9:20 a.m. ET / 6:20 a.m. PT. Daniel M.
Bradbury, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amylin Pharmaceuticals,
will be providing a corporate overview.
