CapitalSource Prices Common Stock Offering

CHEVY CHASE, Md., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CapitalSource Inc.
(NYSE: CSE) announced today the pricing of an offering of 30,000,000 shares of
its common stock at a gross public offering price per share of $11.00.
The company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an
additional 4,500,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any. J.P. Morgan
Securities Inc. and Wachovia Securities are acting as joint bookrunning
managers for the offering. BMO Capital Markets Corp., Citigroup Global
Markets, Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities, and Morgan Stanley are acting as
joint lead managers and Banc of America Securities LLC, SunTrust Robinson
Humphrey, Inc., JMP Securities and Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. are acting
as co-managers.
