BEIJING--(Business Wire)--
Due to the changing world economic patterns, Asia will overtake North America to
become the world's largest oil consumer, as predicted by the International
Energy Agency years ago. Since the breakout of the financial crisis at the end
of 2008, the oil economy in North America has been heavily impacted. Meanwhile,
the Chinese government has implemented various revitalization plans and adjusted
its export tax rebate policies in response to the crisis. Through a series of
changes in the industrial structure, China's oil industry has seen a recovery
trend, and its demand for advanced oil equipment from the North America has
increased significantly. China is increasingly becoming a key investment market
for the North American oil equipment manufacturers.

The cippe event, through ten years of endeavor, has been recognized as Asia's
most important platform for oil technology and equipment exchanges. The
organizer expected the exhibition area of cippe2010 to reach 65,000 square
meters. After a detailed market analysis, the organizer announced in August 2009
that it would employ an additional exhibition hall to meet its customers'
expanded demands.

So far, cippe2010 has received applications from the U.S. and Canada delegations
by far more than as of this time last year. Existing customers from the U.S.
delegation include API, Oil State, Eaton, Tyco, Freewave and Ashcroft, with new
customers including Twin Disc, Expansion Seal Technologies and Quality Connector
Systems. The U.S. delegation has booked a total area of 800 square meters, and
is expected to occupy a total of 1,000 eventually. Meanwhile, the Canada
delegation, which is to take part for a second consecutive year, will expand its
area from 72 square meters to 180 square meters next year, with its registered
participants including the Alberta government, Rayco-Wylie Systems and Master
Flo Valve Inc. It is believed that these two delegations are sure to become the
highlights of cippe2010.

In addition, cippe2010's international promotion campaign is well under way. The
French, German, Norwegian, Italian and Russian delegations have respectively
ordered an area of 216, 320, 180, 126 and 320 square meters. The UK delegation,
which is new to the cippe event, has demanded for an area of 300 square meters.
With the international delegations bringing the world-class oil technologies,
products and equipment to cippe2010, and the prosperous Chinese purchasing
market being a magnet to the multi-national delegations, the international
delegation area will remain an attractive platform for displaying the
international oil technologies and equipment.

The cippe organizer will collaborate with the municipal government of Houston,
the world's city of oil, on a forum accompanying the exhibition. The Houston
government will invite the government officials, multinational oil company
executives, purchase managers as well as technical personnel in the city to
attend and give speeches at 2010 International Oil and Petrochemical Equipment
Industry Development Forum. Through the platform of cippe, the enterprises of
China and the U.S. will be able to complement each other.

cippe2010 will take place at New China International Exhibition Center in
Beijing between March 22 and 24, 2010.
