Valmont Board Declares Quarterly Dividend

OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of
Valmont Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI) has declared a quarterly dividend of
13 cents per share payable on October 15, 2008 to shareholders of record on
September 26, 2008. The dividend indicates an annual rate of 52.0 cents per
share.

and structures for lighting and traffic, wireless communication and utility
markets, and is a provider of protective coating services. Valmont also leads
