Corporate Express to Feature Winning Student's Artwork on the
Cover of Its 2009 Product Solutions for Schools Catalog
EL PASO, Texas--(Business Wire)--
Stephanie Flores, a seventh grader at Jane A. Hambric School in El
Paso, Texas, beat out hundreds of other entries from across the
country to win the Corporate Express 2009 School Catalog Cover
Contest. The judges loved her whimsical interpretation of the
catalog's "Corporate Express Products Are Winners, Hands Down!" theme
and awarded her school more than $10,000 worth of school supplies and
$20,000 worth of furniture for a classroom makeover.

Hambric School is a Title I school with 85 percent of its students
qualifying for free or reduced lunches, and like many other schools,
it suffers from a budget crunch. Stephanie's award couldn't come at a
better time according to school administrators, who say they
desperately need white boards and computer monitors. Likewise, the new
supplies and furniture from Corporate Express free up funds for books
and educational field trips.

"Stephanie is such a talent and we're extremely proud of her
accomplishment," said Danny Gurany, principal of Hambric School. "She
has won several other art awards, but this one truly helps her school
and her peers way beyond our expectations. We are grateful to
Corporate Express for recognizing Stephanie's talent with such a
generous award and donation."

Not only was Stephanie's artwork exactly what Corporate Express
was looking for to represent its 2009 School Catalog, but it also
showed true artistic talent. Stephanie used crayons to draw a precise
yet fun mural-like image. Corporate Express will present Stephanie and
Hambric School with the school supplies and furniture during a
ceremony at the school on Thursday, April 17, 2008.

"Corporate Express is committed to helping schools maximize their
budgets by giving them the best, most cost-effective supplies,
furniture and equipment," said Walter Scott, vice president of
marketing for Corporate Express. "This contest is designed not only to
showcase our products, but also to recognize and reward student
creativity. We're thrilled to award such a deserving student and
school top prize in our School Catalog Cover Contest."

In addition to Stephanie's artwork, Corporate Express awarded
first and second runner-up prizes to John R. Buchtel High School in
Akron, Ohio, and Joliet Central High School in Joliet, Illinois,
respectively. The winning artwork is on display on the Corporate
Express education web site at www.cexpschools.com.
