-- Jive, the Social Business Software leader, announced that The
Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) is
piloting use of Jive to extend outreach and deepen engagement with
external partners in government agencies, international organisations,
civil society and other institutions with help from Jive Social
Business
        Software.
-- OECD, one of the world's largest and most reliable sources of economic
and social analysis and data, provides a forum in which governments
compare policy experiences, seek answers to common problems, identify
good practice and coordinate domestic and international policies.
-- OECD relies heavily on consultation and collaboration with external
partners, and has a number of systems to support information/data
sharing and discussion forums. Much interaction however still takes
        place via email.

-- Recognizing the need to update its external collaboration portfolio,
OECD performed a review of the latest in collaboration technologies
and
chose Jive Social Business Software. Using Jive, OECD implemented an
external community to support both informal information sharing and
collaboration with its partner groups as well as more formal
        discussions.

Jive Commentary
-- "Many of our internal staff and external partners were demanding an
easy
to use, effective tool to aid in the consultation and collaborative
process," said Chris Daniel, Analyst at OECD. "Some users had already
begun experimenting with free software available on the web."
-- "We wanted to provide a space where partners and staff can easily
engage
with one another," mentioned Chris. "Jive allows us to provide both
secure private spaces as well as more open spaces where participants
can
find, discover and interact with one another, and share their
findings,
        research and analysis."

-- "In both the private and public arenas, we are seeing a growing demand
for effective collaboration with third parties for research, contract
work or established partnerships," said Dave Hersh, CEO, Jive
Software.
"Jive SBS uniquely supports these activities by providing an intuitive
interface that minimizes the need for formal training and promotes
