Farmers Insurance Group(R) to Showcase m.i.l.k. Program at Collier Elementary Health & Safety Fair
Program Aids in Recovery of Missing Children
AVONDALE, Ariz.--(Business Wire)--
The "m.i.l.k. mobile" will be on display in Avondale on Saturday,
March 29, when Farmers Insurance Group(R) will participate in the
Collier Elementary Health and Safety Fair located in Avondale,
showcasing Farmers' digital child identification program called
Managing Information on Lost Kids (m.i.l.k.).
On March 29 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm, Farmers agent Scott Hoppa
will participate in the health and safety fair with his
first-of-its-kind, specially outfitted "m.i.l.k. mobile." This gives
parents the opportunity to stop by and receive the m.i.l.k. digital
identification kits for children, free of charge. The Collier
Elementary Health and Safety Fair will take place at 350 S 118th
Avenue in Avondale.
The program is aimed at aiding in the recovery of lost children.
In the event of an emergency, the m.i.l.k. Digital ID can immediately
be forwarded to local authorities and the National Center for Missing
and Exploited Children. The m.i.l.k. Digital ID has been referred to
as the first step in the national Amber Alert plan.
"The m.i.l.k. program is a value service to our community because
it allows parents to protect their children," said Hoppa. "Farmers
Insurance provides these m.i.l.k. kits free of charge. All a parent
has to do is come to the `m.i.l.k. mobile' this Saturday and pick up a
kit. The `m.i.l.k. mobile' is hard to miss. It's a 36-foot reminder of
my commitment to keeping the kids in this community safe."
