Kevin Mundt, Managing Director of Vestar Capital Partners and President of Vestar Resources, Elected to National Mentor Holdings, Inc.'s Board of Directors

BOSTON, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
National Mentor Holdings, Inc. today announced that on March 8,
2008 Kevin Mundt was elected to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mundt will serve as Chairman of the Board's Audit and Capital
Allocation Committees, filling vacancies created by Brian K. Ratzan's
resignation, also effective March 8, 2008, from the Company's Board of
Directors. Mundt and Ratzan are both managing directors of Vestar
Capital Partners V, L.P., the Company's controlling equity holder.

   For more than 25 years, Mundt has been a strategy and operations
consultant, specializing in consumer products, retailing and
multi-point distribution, healthcare and industrial marketing. Prior
to joining Vestar in 2004, Mundt was a strategic advisor to the firm
and served on the boards of several Vestar portfolio companies. After
beginning his consulting career at Bain and Company, Mundt co-founded
Corporate Directions, Inc. After his firm was acquired by Marsh and
McLennan, Mundt was Managing Director of Marsh and McLennan's
financial consulting arm, Mercer Oliver Wyman. Mundt holds a BA from
Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
