PARSIPPANY, N.J., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a
global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and
signal processing, today announced the release of its Dialogic® Host Media
Processing (HMP) Software Release 4.1LIN. Dialogic HMP Software 4.1 is
high-density, cost-effective multimedia processing software for building
innovative IP and TDM-based solutions. This new release provides for advanced
video features, including:

    -- Video transcoding (H.263 and MPEG-4)
    -- Video transrating
    -- Video conferencing

-- 3G-324M (with Mona and WNSRP) for video-enabled mobile applications

Dialogic HMP Software 4.1 enables application developers to create rich voice
and video solutions on a single Linux server platform that supports 248 video
conference callers or up to 600 voice conference callers. Service providers
can build up to 248 port advanced video gateways to transcode H.263 to MPEG4,
or an innovative video portal that streams 600 channels of different video
content. Dialogic HMP Software 4.1 also contains patent-pending software that
has been developed by Dialogic® Media Labs to enhance the quality of mobile
video with improved bit-rate control.

"A large number of leading developers have already started integrating the
latest capabilities of Dialogic HMP Software 4.1 into their solutions to
expand their business reach from voice only applications to both video and
voice applications," said Jim Machi, senior VP of marketing at Dialogic.
"Developers are creating innovative solutions such as video portals,
multimedia conferencing, video surveillance applications, video-enabled call
centers and video-enabled social networking. We are delighted by the
overwhelming global support of the beta trial customers from India, China, Sri
Lanka, Korea, Thailand, Australia and the United States, as well as countries
throughout Northern Europe and the Americas."

"As a VAS provider, it's essential to develop mobile video services in order
to generate more revenue, but the underlying challenge is to create video
platforms that easily migrate from voice service to video service," said D.
Arunun, Founder & Managing Director at Baytalkitec. "We decided to use
Dialogic® HMP 4.1 and it has proven to be a revolutionary framework for
creating 3G video applications. The rich APIs provided in HMP4.1 make it
possible to write end-to-end applications, ranging from ring back tones to
IVVRs. My sincere thanks to Dialogic for providing great support during the
beta testing of this product."

"At Spice Digital, our goal is to create video products that represent the
true essence of our innovative approach to ensuring our customers' success.
Dialogic has been instrumental at each and every step in helping us achieving
our goal," said Dr. Abhinav Mathur, Chief Strategy & Technology Officer at
Spice Digital. "We use Dialogic's HMP Software to develop cost effective,
scalable, innovative and robust video and voice products for legacy and next
generation networks. Dialogic's prompt support and timely delivery of new
features has truly exceeded our expectations."

"Oniontech has developed a MAS (Multimedia Application Server) Platform based
on Dialogic HMP Software and we recently migrated to HMP 4.1 during the beta
trial," said Sunny Park, Director of NGP Division at Oniontech. "Now the MAS
can take advantage of Advanced Video functionality without the need for DSP
hardware. We intend to offer even more flexibility to our MAS product by
incorporating 3G-324M features in the near future."

"Operators today are strengthening their market leadership by delivering the
personalized services that subscribers demand," said Surajee Rathnayake, Head
of Product Architecture at WaveNet. "Our partnership with Dialogic has given
us the flexibility to offer our costumers cost effective, high quality voice
and video solutions that make the overall user experience enriching and
entertaining."
