Announces Reflexus and Calvus penta-band antennas combine high performance with
ease of integration
CAMBRIDGE, England--(Business Wire)--
Antenova Ltd, the integrated antenna and RF solutions company, announced the
addition of two new cellular penta-band SMD antennas to the gigaNOVA® range of
market proven surface mount antennas. Designed for ease of integration into
wireless devices, the Reflexus A10315 and Calvus A10340 antennas are ideally
suited for an extensive range of embedded cellular applications such mobile
handsets, femto base stations, vehicle tracking, remote monitoring and other M2M
applications.

"There has been strong demand for high performing and easy to integrate standard
cellular antennas for the ever expanding wireless device market," stated Greg
McCray, CEO of Antenova. "Both Reflexus and Calvus are high performance
penta-band antennas offering the ease of integration benefits of a surface
mountable device that has not been offered in the industry until now. Reflexus
A10315 antenna which incorporates Antenova`s patented complementary antenna
technology is extremely resistant to de-tuning and offers reliable, robust,
performance across all device applications. Calvus is an SMD version of our
existing Flavus GSM internal snap-in antenna, offering Flavus customers the same
good performance with the flexibility to switch to an SMD device if required.
These standard penta-band antennas offer design flexibility and are particularly
suited for module makers targeting the growing M2M market and device
manufacturers looking to add cellular connectivity into their products."

Reflexus A10315 is a high efficiency penta-band cellular SMD antenna suitable
for GSM, GPRS and UMTS applications and covers the GSM850/900/1800/1900 and
WCDMA frequencies. Reflexus`s complementary antenna structure provides excellent
resistance to de-tuning and offers predictable performance in customer devices.
Reflexus A10315 is a compact 40x10x3.2 mm3 size antenna intended for surface
mounting and requires minimal ground plane. Calvus A10340 penta-band antenna is
a surface mountable version of Antenova`s popular Flavus snap-in cellular
antenna suitable for GSM, GPRS and UMTS applications and also covers the
GSM850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA frequencies. Calvus is a very compact 27 x 8 x
3.2 mm3 size antenna intended for surface mounting and requires minimal ground
plane to operate efficiently. Both Reflexus and Calvus are supplied in tape on
reel and available for volume purchase through Antenova`s global network of
leading distributors and agents.

Antenova offers the gigaNOVA range of market leading antenna solutions for 2.3
GHz, 2.4 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 5 GHz, GPS, GSM and ISM900 bands. gigaNOVA standard
antennas are small and designed for easy integration into wireless devices and
are the smart choice for GPS, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, WiMAX™, WiBro, ZigBee®, MIMO
and cellular M2M applications. Antenova also offers a full range of development
