This Veterans Day, Sears and Rebuilding Together are taking on a major
renovation in Boston, The New England Center for Homeless Veterans. The
center offers a residential housing program along with supportive services
focusing on education, employment and health care to their resident veterans.
The project will honor those that Rebuilding Together and Sears are committed
to serving through the "Heroes at Home" program. Renovations began on
November 5 and the mass-volunteer effort will culminate on Veterans Day with a
ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"On Veterans Day, through our Heroes at Home program, it is an honor to
recognize the military service of men and women and to offer them a safe and
warm place to call home," said Don Hamblen, vice president and chief marketing
officer for Sears. "We also were pleased that our local Sears employee
volunteers could assist with the renovation of the New England Center for
Homeless Veterans."

Sears recognized the need to assist military families facing incredible
hardship and they responded by working with Rebuilding Together on the "Heroes
at Home" program, which is dedicated to serving military families. Over the
past three years, Sears has helped Rebuilding Together's Veterans Housing
program by raising more than $9 million. The three year relationship has
provided significant home repairs and accessibility modifications for hundreds
of military families across the nation.

"Rebuilding Together thanks Sears Holdings, their employees and customers for
making the 'Heroes at Home' program such an amazing success, all with the
single goal of helping to improve the lives of military families," said Gary
A. Officer, President & CEO, Rebuilding Together. "This Veterans Day project
in Boston is just another example of Sears' constant commitment to our
military personnel."
