Miss GEICO Crowned World Champion

KEY WEST, Fla., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ --  AMF/Miss GEICO cruised to its fourth
consecutive World Championship title on Sunday in front of record-breaking
crowds. The 50' neon green Miss GEICO catamaran destroyed the fastest racing
boats in the world under difficult and windy racing conditions all week long
in Key West, Florida.

Team owner, John Haggin, exclaimed, "Each race we continued to get faster. It
is a wonderful feeling to be the fastest boat in the world and four-time World
Champion."

Driver, Marc Granet, and throttleman, Scott Begovich, were elated with the way
the boat handled under difficult and ever-changing racing conditions. "Our
team worked extremely hard and each race we were prepared and set up
perfectly," quipped Marc Granet. "We wanted our sponsor, GEICO, to be proud of
us," chimed Scott Begovich sporting an ear to ear grin.
