CAW members vote on Ford agreement Saturday and Sunday

TORONTO, May 3 /PRNewswire/ - Ford workers in Oakville, Windsor,
Bramalea, and St. Thomas will vote on the tentative agreement between the
company and the CAW.
    The agreement was unanimously endorsed by the master bargaining committee
and overwhelmingly supported by more than 200 local leaders who gathered in
Toronto on Friday.

    The results of all votes will be tallied and sent out by Sunday, May 4 at
10 p.m.
    The CAW will be meeting with General Motors on Monday and Chrysler on
Tuesday with the intention of adapting the pattern agreement achieved at Ford
to each company.
