Acquisition of Pitkerro Ltd

Rok plc, The Nation's Local Builder, has today acquired the entire issued share
capital of Pitkerro Ltd ("Pitkerro") from John Wiseman and Wallace Wiseman, the
shareholders.

Pitkerro operated for many years as a subsidiary of Bett Brothers Plc. In 2000
Pitkerro was acquired by John and Wallace Wiseman via a management buy out. The
business has grown considerably since that time and Pitkerro now employs over
100 people providing plumbing and heating services principally in Tayside,
Scotland where it has built up an excellent reputation.

Consideration for the acquisition is £3.0m of which £0.9m will be settled in Rok
shares. The cash element will be paid from existing facilities.

To satisfy the equity element of the consideration, application will be made to
the UKLA for 766,447 ordinary shares of 2p to be admitted to trading on the
London Stock Exchange. Admission to listing is expected to become effective and
dealings commence at 8.00am on 14 January 2008.
