STOCKHOLM--(Business Wire)--
Regulatory News:

Alfa Laval (STO:ALFA) - a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation
and fluid handling - has won an order for plate heat exchangers and filters to
be used for cooling duties in two new nuclear power reactors in China. The order
value is about SEK 130 million and delivery is scheduled to be completed by
2011.

Alfa Laval`s plate heat exchangers and filters will be used in the reactor
island cooling system where seawater is used to cool a fresh water circuit for
various equipment in the plant.

"China has intensified the pace to build up its nuclear power generating
capacity and the plan is to reach at least 60 GWe by 2020, corresponding to
about 50 new reactors", says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval
Group. "Alfa Laval has delivered equipment to the majority of the nuclear power
plants in China and this order confirms our strong position in this market."

Did you know that China`s installed electric power generating capacity is
planned to reach about 1400 GWe by 2020, which is double the capacity of 2007?
The plan is to increase the share covered by nuclear power from 2 to 5 percent
during the same period.
