Smart Grid Industry Leaders Hold D.C. Summit on Technology, Consumers Costs,

What: A National Town Meeting on Demand Response and Smart Grid will be held
in Washington, DC on July 13 and 14. Roundtable discussions by Utilities,
Policy Makers, Technology Companies, and other stakeholders will provide
insights on new policy and business options to reduce rising peak electricity
use and create a cleaner, more reliable and less costly electricity system.
Demand response and Smart Grid are seen by many experts as key to supporting
greater levels of energy efficiency and renewable energy, and thus key to
addressing climate change.
When: July 13 and 14 (Monday and Tuesday)
