Outdoor Channel Broadens Distribution in Oregon and Washington Markets Through
Comcast Corporation Agreement
Outdoor Channel HD Launched in September




TEMECULA, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Outdoor Channel Holdings,
Inc. (Nasdaq: OUTD), America's leader in Outdoor TV, today announced that the
Outdoor Channel network has broadened its distribution through placement on
the Digital Preferred tier, in addition to its existing position on the Sports
and Entertainment tier, throughout multiple Comcast Digital Cable systems in
Portland, Salem and Corvallis, Oregon, as well as in Vancouver and Longview,
Washington. Local residents now have easy access to a robust spectrum of
Outdoor Channel's popular hunting, fishing, shooting and adventure
programming. This change was effective as of September 1, 2009.

Additionally, Outdoor Channel launched its high-definition channel, Outdoor
Channel HD, on September 1, 2009 in these markets.
