CECO Environmental Announces Two New Orders Totaling Approximately $1.9 Million

Orders From Ethanol and Automotive Industries




CINCINNATI, July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CECO Environmental Corp.
(NasdaqGM: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial
ventilation systems, announced today that it has received two new orders
totaling approximately $1.9 million.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "These orders were
secured by companies in our equipment and contracting groups.  The larger
order is for equipment being supplied to an ethanol production facility in the
Midwest.  The other contract involves ventilation equipment for an automotive
facility."

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "While power
and refining have grown to be the two largest components of our backlog,
ethanol and automotive are still important components of our customer base. 
Specifically with the refinancing of the automobile industry we are optimistic
