Gartmore Global Trust PLC (the "Company")

Issue of Ordinary Shares

Gartmore Global Trust PLC, managed by Gartmore Investment Limited, has today
issued 100,000 Ordinary 25p shares at a price of 258.75p per share.

This share issue increases the number of Ordinary shares in issue to
40,507,163.

Voting Rights

The Company's issued capital comprises Ordinary shares of 25p each and 3.75%
Cumulative Preference Stock.

Holders of the Company's Ordinary shares are entitled to one vote for every £2
of nominal capital held.

Holders of the Company's 3.75% Cumulative Preference Stock are entitled to one
vote for every £10 of nominal capital held.
