Spain's Iberia Chairman Conte resigns

MADRID, July 9 (Reuters) - The chairman of Spanish airline Iberia (IBLA.MC), Fernando Conte, has resigned, the company said on Thursday.

The news follows a newspaper report that its main shareholder Caja Madrid was unhappy with the lack of progress towards a merger with British Airways (BAY.L).
