MOGLIANO VENETO, Italy, July 14 (Reuters) - Italian insurer Generali's (GASI.MI) stake in Intesa Vita -- which bank Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP.MI) is to buy -- has been valued at over 700 million euros, Generali CEO Giovanni Perissinotto said on Tuesday.

"There was an agreement (with Intesa) which foresaw the valuation by an expert and it has been done. The figure is over 700 million euros," Perissinotto said, adding a company called Tillinghast had done the valuation.

He said payment was expected by the end of July.
