Japan's Mizuho gets full bank license from Singapore

SINGAPORE, July 15 (Reuters) - Mizuho Corporate Bank, a unit of Japan's Mizuho Financial Group (8411.T), said on Tuesday it has got a full bank license to operate in Singapore.

The Japanese bank will be introducing new products and services in the areas of ship finance, global trade finance, syndication, project finance, real estate finance and commodities derivatives through its Singapore office, it said in a statement.

Mizuho has been operating in Singapore since 2002. (Reporting by Kevin Lim, editing by Neil Chatterjee)
