SYDNEY, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Westpac Banking Corp (WBC.AX),
Australia's fourth biggest lender, has raised A$1.48 billion
($1.17 billion) in two- and three-year notes, the bank said on
Thursday.
The issue comprised an increase of A$830 million in fixed and floating notes due on Sept. 24 2010 and a new line of A$650 million in floating rate notes maturing in Sept. 2011
