Australia's Crown denies Ameristar bid interest

SYDNEY, July 10 (Reuters) - Australian gaming group Crown Ltd (CWN.AX) said on Thursday it had no interest in buying U.S. group Ameristar Casinos Inc (ASCA.O), responding to media speculation. "Crown has not undertaken or commissioned any evaluation of Ameristar and nor is it proposing to do so," the company said in a statement. (Reporting by James Thornhill)
