JAKARTA, Aug 12 (Reuters) - An Indonesian energy ministry official said on Tuesday that a decision by local authorities in East Kalimantan to block roads used by coal miners will hamper domestic coal supplies and could affect a power plant in Java.

Bambang Setiawan, director general of mineral, coal and geothermal, told reporters that the central government has sent a team to the area to investigate the matter. (Reporting by Muklis Ali, writing by Harry Suhartono, editing by Sara Webb)
