TOKYO, June 24 (Reuters) - Japan aims to put in a budget request to reinstate solar panel subsidies from April 2009, a ministry official said on Tuesday.
A panel of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Japan earlier said that the country should aim to halve the price of solar panels for households in three to five years. (Reporting by Mayumi Negishi; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
