Fiat India expects to sell 2,500 Linea per month
RANJANGAON, India, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The Indian unit of Italy's Fiat (FIA.MI) expects to sell 2,500 Linea sedans a month in India, chief executive Rajeev Kapoor said on Friday.
"The consumer has become more selective. We also see an opportunity in the slow down," he told reporters after Fiat India Automobiles, a equal joint venture between Fiat and India's Tata Motors (TAMO.BO), began production of the mid-sized sedan in India.
The pricing of the car would be decided closer to its launch next month, Kapoor said. (Reporting by Janaki Krishnan; Editing by John Mair)
