Malaysia ends protection for carmaker Proton -report
KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Reuters) - Malaysia has withdrawn special protection for state-controlled carmaker Proton (PROT.KL: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), official Bernama news agency quoted Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi as telling parliament on Tuesday.
