TUI Travel waiting on Dreamliner information
LONDON, April 10 (Reuters) - Europe's biggest holiday firm TUI Travel (TT.L) said on Thursday it was awaiting more information from Boeing Co (BA.N) about the latest delays in deliveries of its 787 Dreamliners.
"We are working closely with Boeing to understand the impact that delays to the 787 production schedule will have on the delivery date of our aircraft," TUI said in a statement.
TUI Travel has ordered 23 of the aircraft over the next five years.
Boeing said on Thursday its schedule has been pushed back another six months and is now running around 15 months behind the original plan.
Airlines including British Airways (BAY.L), Qantas (QAN.AX), Virgin [VA.UL], Air India and Japan's two big carriers were among those eyeing compensation for the delays.
