BRIEF-Tandberg says talks with private equity group end

OSLO, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Norwegian video conferencing equipment maker Tandberg (TAA.OL) said on Friday.

* That discussions with a private equity group over a possible stake in Tandberg have ended due to the turmoil in the financial markets, during which it has proved "impossible to achieve acceptable pricing and financing conditions".

* On Aug. 12, Tandberg announced it was in discussions with a private equity player about a potential offer for the shares of the company. (Reporting by Wojciech Moskwa)
