 Nov 12 (Reuters) - Britain's three biggest grocers, Tesco
(TSCO.L), Asda (WMT.N) and J Sainsbury (SBRY.L), have all
reported a slowdown in quarterly sales growth in recent weeks as
food inflation eases. 
 Here's how they measure up. 
 
 * ASDA: (Quarter ending Sept. 30, 2009)

 Like-for-like sales growth - 5.6 percent
 
 * J SAINSBURY: (Interim result for 28 weeks ending Oct. 3,
2009)
 Market Capitalisation - 6.25 billion pound ($10.36 billion)s
 Stores - 792
 Employees - 170,000
 Total Sales - 11.15 billion pound ($18.48 billion)s
 Like-for-like sales growth - 5.7 percent, including 5.4
percent in the 16-weeks to Oct. 3
 * TESCO: (Interim result for 26 weeks ending Aug.26, 2009)
 Market Capitalisation - 32.91 billion pound ($54.55 billion)

   Global - 30.39 billion pounds

 Like-for-like sales
