TURIN, Italy, Oct 24 (Reuters) - A strike at parts supplier Ergom has shut Fiat SpA's (FIA.MI) Termini Imerese auto plant, a Fiat spokesman said on Friday.

The shutdown at the plant, which makes Lancia Ypsilons, started on Thursday's second shift and has continued through the first shift on Friday, he said.

Ergom workers are on strike in a dispute over renewal of some employees' short-term contracts.
