Chrysler U.S. December sales rise about 1 percent
DETROIT, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Chrysler LLC said on Thursday its U.S. sales rose just under 1 percent in December.
Chrysler said it sold 191,423 vehicles in the United States last month compared with 190,415 vehicles a year earlier.
Chrysler also finished the month with 438,390 units of inventory, or a 60-day supply. Inventory is down by 19 percent compared with December 2006 when it was at 538,438 units, the automaker said.
