LOS ANGELES, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The Top four, 2009 "American Idol" finalists are about to release their first albums since the TV show's May finale.

Winner Kris Allen's self-titled "Kris Allen" lands in record stores on Nov 17; runner-up Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" is out on November 23; Allison Iraheta releases "Just Like You" on Dec 1, and Danny Gokey will release his country-style debut in early 2010.

Not all "Idol" contestants enjoy the same level of recording success after the show. Following are U.S. record sales for notable "Idols", who are contracted after the show to Sony Music Entertainment (6758.T) labels. All figures are from Nielsen SoundScan.

* Kelly Clarkson (2002 winner) 10.4 million albums and 14.7 million digitally downloaded tracks

* Carrie Underwood (2005 winner) 10.2 million albums, 11.9 million digitally downloaded tracks

* Chris Daughtry (2006 Top 10, through his band Daughtry), 5.3 million albums, 8.3 million digitally downloaded tracks

* Clay Aiken (2003 runner-up), 4.9 million albums, 515,000 digitally downloaded tracks

* Fantasia (2004 winner), 2.3 million albums, 866,000 digitally downloaded tracks

* David Cook (2008 winner), 1.3 million albums, 3.7 million digitally downloaded tracks

* Jordin Sparks (2007 winner), 1.2 million albums, 8.4 million digitally downloaded tracks

* David Archuleta (2008 runner-up), 776,000 albums, 2.8 million digitally downloaded tracks

* Jennifer Hudson (2004 Top 10), 776,000 albums, 1.4 million digitally downloaded tracks
