CHICAGO, April 24 (Reuters) - The United Auto Workers union strike at American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc (AXL.N) is costing Union Pacific Corp (UNP.N) $15 million in lost revenue per month, the No. 1 U.S. railroad said on Thursday.

About 3,650 UAW-represented workers went on strike at five American Axle plants in the United States on Feb. 26. That strike has forced General Motors Corp (GM.N) to at least partly idle around 30 plants in North America because of parts shortages. (Reporting by Nick Carey, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
