SEOUL, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Stocks on the move on Monday include:

As of 0459 GMT, the main KOSPI was 1.39 percent up at 1,710.08 points, led by financials such as Kookmin Bank and exporters after hopes that the sector could avoid further damage from the subprime crisis sparked a late rally in Wall Street.

The index opened 0.91 percent higher at 1,701.75 points.

**HITE BREWERY JUMPS ON SHARE BUYBACK PLAN**

Hite Brewery (000140.KS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), South Korea's top brewer, rose 4.95 percent to 116,500 won after it said it would buy back 200,000 shares worth 22.2 billion won ($23.44 million) from the market to bolster share prices.

Hite said in a filing with the Korea Exchange it would conduct the share buyback between Feb 29 and May 28.
